Terms & Conditions

 1. Scope

These terms apply to all orders placed by customers via the online shop of www.victorialedig.com for fine‑art prints produced to order. By placing an order you accept these terms.

 2. Offer & Contract

2.1 The product descriptions in the online shop are not binding offers but invitations to order.

2.2 When you place an order, you make a binding offer. We accept this offer with our order confirmation (via email) or by dispatching the goods.

2.3 All offers are subject to availability and correct pricing.

 3. Production & Fulfilment

3.1 Each print is produced to order by our print‑partner after your order is accepted.

3.2 Suitable production time is generally 2‑5 working days after acceptance, unless otherwise stated.

3.3 Delivery time depends on destination and shipping method.

 4. Prices & Payment

4.1 Prices shown include statutory VAT (if applicable) and exclude shipping costs unless stated otherwise.

4.2 Payment is due immediately or by the chosen method at checkout.

4.3 If you are subject to VAT and include VAT on your invoice, your VAT‑ID is Your VAT‑ID.

 5. Shipping & Risk

5.1 Shipping is charged per order according to the rates indicated at checkout.

5.2 The risk of accidental loss or deterioration passes to you when the goods are handed over to the shipping provider.

 6. Returns & Warranty

6.1 Because prints are produced according to order, we only accept returns for items that are faulty, damaged or incorrectly produced (e.g., wrong size, wrong material).

6.2 You must report such faults within 14 calendar days of delivery by email to hello[at]victorialedig[dot]com with photographs of the defect.

6.3 If the print is faulty, we will at our discretion replace the item or refund the purchase price (excluding shipping).

6.4 Claims do not affect your statutory warranty rights under German law.

6.5 For “change of mind” returns (no fault), we do not offer a general return right because the goods are custom‑made. If you nevertheless request a return, this is at our discretion, and return shipping costs will be borne by you.

 7. Liability

7.1 We are liable for intent and gross negligence. For simple negligence our liability is limited to foreseeable damage typical for the contract.

7.2 Mandatory liability under German law (e.g., for defects of the goods) remains unaffected.

 8. Consumer Right of Withdrawal

8.1 If you are a consumer within the meaning of § 13 BGB, you have a right of withdrawal under German law except for exceptions. Because the goods are custom‑made to your specifications (made on demand) the right of withdrawal is excluded in accordance with § 312g (2) no. 1 BGB.

8.2 This does not apply if the goods are faulty or not as described – see clause 6.

 9. Retention of Title

The goods remain our property until full payment has been received.

 10. Applicable Law & Jurisdiction

German law applies. If you are a consumer residing in the EU, mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence may apply. The place of jurisdiction for all disputes is Berlin, Germany, if you are a merchant.

 11. Final Provisions

If any provision of these terms is invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions remains unaffected.
